Marco Pierdominici

Accordion - Keyboard - vocals

Marco was born (1985) with a pearly concertina in his hands. At 6 years of age he was already entertaining friends and guests of the family with Marche folk music and current pop music.

When he was 12 he acquired his first accordion (known as fisarmonica in Italian). He took extra lessons in music outside his normal school time at the Amandola school of music.

At 15 his parents bought him his first keyboard, an electronic synthesizer of modest proportions.

He continued to study at the Amandola school of music, developing his musical talents, singing voice and other musical instruments. In the meantime his accordions and keyboards grew in size and complicity.

He began to acquire electronic equipment, amplifiers and loudspeakers and by the age of 16 was able to give his first solo public performance.

After leaving school at 18 he worked with various groups in the Le Marche region and continued improving his talents. He continued studying music taking private lessons with the maestro Stefano Bianchi, and at the age of 20 formed his own group.

Today he is able to take bookings for any occasion, large or small. He is equipped to give large open-air performances in piazza or indoors down to a small private party. He can adapt his music and group size with male and female vocals to the event with folk music, pop and modern dance music.

Le Marche is just teeming with talent, singers, dancers and instrumentalists. Like most Italians, they all have a very strong ambition to make it on their own.

It is very difficult to keep the same group together for any great length of time. Some stay a few weeks and others a year or two.
